PICNICKING
ON ZOO GROUNDS
Coolers and outside food are welcome on zoo
grounds. The zoo appreciates you disposing
of all trash in the provided receptacles
including fast food beverage container lids
and straws that may pose a danger to the
animals if blown into their exhibits.
ZOO &
CLASSROOM OR GROUP RESERVATIONS
Make your reservations at least one week in
advance, but not more than two months in
advance of your visit. You may phone in your
requests for reservations, Monday through
Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm to
971-7188. Special classroom and group rates
are for Hawai`i based groups only, but
special programs are available to everyone.

The Honolulu Zoo Society (HZS) is a
non-profit organization dedicated to
building a world class zoo through financial
and volunteer support. It works toward this
goal through membership fees, animal
adoption fees, contributions and bequests,
and through fund raising events.
