Learn to surf in world famous Waikiki at the Hans Hedemann Surf School, offering more than 17 years of professional experience in Hawaii and around the world!

With 2-Hour surf lessons that will get you up and riding waves in no time. The Hans Hedemann professional team consists of professional surfers, Hawaiian watermen and lifeguard/CPR certified instructors. They are enthusiastic about providing an enriched Hawaiian surf experience for surfers of any level.

Worried about the Waikiki crowds? Leave your worries on the sand. Your lesson will take place at a less crowded break at Waikiki beach called Tongs and will include a 20-minute land session where you'll learn about waves, currents, winds, tides, proper standing techniques, surf etiquette and water safety. You'll spend the remainder of your time in the water learning proper paddling techniques, standing and turning maneuvers. Before you know it, you'll be standing and riding waves Hawaiian-style!

2:1 student to instructor ratio, Private Lesson
or enjoy 1 on 1 instruction plus a free Hans Hedemann Surf School t-shirt!
Children 14 & under are required to take a private lesson to ensure the best results.

Time: 2 Hour Lesson
Morning Lesson, 9:00am-11:00am
Afternoon Lesson, 12:00pm-2:00pm
Evening Lesson, 3:00pm-5:00pm.
7 days a week.

*Pick-up is approximately 20 minutes prior to lesson time chosen and check-in is 30 min prior to lesson time chosen.

Surf Lessons Inclusions: Round-trip transportation from Waikiki hotels two-Hour surf lesson, equipment & instruction. Private Lessons also include a free Hans Hedemann t-shirt.

NOTE: Participants should not have any major medical conditions and pregnant mothers may not participate. Children 14 & under must participate in a private lesson.
