Founded in 1904, the Waikiki Aquarium is the third oldest aquarium in the United States. The aquarium is part of the University of Hawaii and is located on the shores of beautiful Waikiki.
All of the exhibits, programs, and research focus on the aquatic life of the tropical Pacific.
Over 2,500 organisms from 420 species are on exhibit at the aquarium. The Aquarium is especially noted for its coral reef exhibit which allows visitors to get a close-up look at reef sharks, living coral, sea jellies, reef fish, and much more.
Directions:
Take Kalakaua Avenue toward the Honolulu Zoo.
After you cross Kapahulu Avenue, get in the right
lane and the Waikiki Aquarium will be on the
right.

Christmas Day Opens

Thanksgiving Day Opens at 11am.
